Setting Windows to High Performance in the Power Settings

It is recommended to set Windows to High Performance in the Power settings which will allow vMix to perform at its most optimal level.

Please see below instructions on how to enable that:

Step 1

Search the Windows start menu for Control Panel and open it up.


Step 2

Select Hardware and Sound.



Step 3

Select Power Options.


Step 4

Change the Plan settings to High Performance. If the option does not appear click Show additional plans.
